Helping Children
Build Skills For a Brighter Future
United Autism Therapy was co-founded by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with nearly a decade of experience supporting children with autism and their families. After years of seeing how much difference the right support makes — and how hard it can be to find — she set out to build a practice that’s more personal, more responsive, and centered on each child. Today, our BCBA-led team serves families across Northern Virginia with individualized ABA, speech, and occupational therapy, no waitlist, and evening and Saturday hours.

Let’s Connect & Support Your Child’s Journey
Stronger Social Interaction
Building the peer, sibling, and friendship skills that help children connect, play, and feel they belong — at home, at school, and in the community.

Enhanced Daily Living Skills
Growing real independence in everyday routines like dressing, mealtimes, toileting, and getting ready for school — one achievable, confidence-building step at a time.

Improved Self-Expression
Giving every child a reliable way to be heard — through spoken words, signs, or communication devices — so frustration gives way to connection.

Safe & Compassionate Care
Background-checked, RBT-trained technicians and Virginia-licensed BCBAs delivering play-based therapy your child can genuinely look forward to.

Our therapy programs are designed to help children close developmental gaps while encouraging positive behaviors, stronger social connections, and greater independence at every stage.

Therapy Focused on real life
Personalized ABA Therapy With a Family-First Approach
We provide individualized ABA therapy for children and young adults from 18 months to 21 years old across Northern Virginia — alongside speech and occupational therapy that work toward the same goals. By focusing on communication, social development, positive behaviors, and independence, our team creates supportive therapy experiences that empower children and the families behind them. Parents are partners here: you’re in the room, in the loop, and in the plan.
Every clinician passes a thorough background check, holds or is actively pursuing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, and completes competency-based training before working independently with your child. Every treatment plan is designed and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst licensed in Virginia (LBA), with weekly supervision that meets — and often exceeds — Behavior Analyst Certification Board standards.

Who designs my child’s therapy plan?
Every treatment plan is created and actively supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed in Virginia — with weekly supervision of sessions, not drive-by check-ins.
What credentials does your team hold?
Our behavior technicians are background-checked and hold or are actively pursuing RBT certification; our BCBAs are Virginia-licensed behavior analysts (LBA). We follow the BACB ethics code and make data-driven decisions.
What ages do you serve?
We support children and young adults from 18 months through 21 years, with programs tailored to toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, and teens.
Where do sessions take place?
In your home, at our center, or out in the community — wherever your child’s treatment plan calls for. Many families combine settings as their child grows.
How do we get started?
Call (703) 261-4446 or send the contact form. We’ll verify your insurance for free, answer your questions, and schedule a comprehensive assessment — most families start within a few weeks.
